LAHORE (MNN); A Lahore Sessions Court has summoned TikTokers Rajab Butt, Salman Haider and other co-accused to appear before the court on August 11 in connection with an alleged rape case filed by fellow TikToker Ayesha Jatt.
According to court documents, Additional Sessions Judge Zafaryab Chadhar ruled that sufficient evidence exists to proceed with the case and directed all accused to appear before the court to present their defense. The court also ordered the investigating officer to attend the proceedings.
In a detailed two-page written order, the judge noted that the complainant had submitted several pieces of evidence, including WhatsApp conversations, a medical examination report, a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and recovery memos, along with other supporting documents.
The case has been registered at Nawab Town Police Station against Rajab Butt, Salman Haider and other accused. Further proceedings are scheduled for August 11.
