A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking the recovery of digital media journalist Nigar Khan Niazi, who has reportedly been missing for the past four days.
The plea, submitted through advocates Imaan Mazari and Owais Younis, requests the court to direct authorities to produce Niazi before the court without delay.
It also calls for strict action against those responsible for his disappearance and demands that if any FIR has been registered against Niazi, it should be disclosed in court. Additionally, the petition urges that Niaziâs family and legal team be granted immediate access to meet him.
This matter arose after Nigar Khan Niazi, who was returning home, mysteriously disappeared near his residence. His sudden disappearance prompted serious concern among his family members, who have now approached the IHC for intervention.
