ISLAMABAD (MNN); Türkiye’s Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, has paid tribute to Pakistani women for their outstanding role in the successful organization of the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women held in Islamabad.
In a special message, Minister Göktaş, along with the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, praised the dedication, professionalism and tireless efforts of the young Pakistani women who contributed to the smooth conduct of the two-day international conference.
She said the event’s success reflected the competence and commitment of Pakistani women, who represented their country with distinction while ensuring the seamless management of the high-level gathering.
Congratulating all those involved, the Turkish minister expressed her heartfelt appreciation to every woman who played a role in making the conference a success, describing their contribution as invaluable.
The 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women brought together ministers, senior government officials, diplomats and women leaders from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Discussions focused on women’s empowerment, education, social protection, economic participation, digital inclusion and strengthening the role of women across the Muslim world.
The successful hosting of the conference has been widely regarded as a significant diplomatic achievement for Pakistan, while Minister Göktaş’s message has been seen as an international acknowledgment of the professionalism, dedication and capabilities demonstrated by Pakistani women during the prestigious event.
